PROCESSOR

Tensor Chip

Google’s custom SoC used in Pixel 6 and later, designed for on-device AI. Unlike Snapdragon, Tensor is not available as a replacement part — board damage means a board swap or data recovery.

Actua / LTPO OLED Display

Google’s high-brightness OLED on Pixel 8+, using LTPO for adaptive 1–120Hz. Pixel displays are paired to the device after replacement — screen quality and colour calibration matter significantly.

Titan M2 Security Chip

Google’s dedicated security chip on Pixel 6+, managing secure boot and encryption. Board-level faults near the Titan M2 can trigger bootloader lock states that prevent normal restore.

Under-Display Fingerprint Sensor
